However, after doing a recent update, I went to troubleshoot the update (before upgrading to the newest windows 10 but I might rollback to the old 10) and after it fixed a couple of things, the touchscreen was enabled then the computer glitched back to square I am tired of going through forum after forum and finding nothing that fixes it. It has to do with the updates and I have no idea which ones or why they do this to my touchscreen capabilities and I have tried left and right and the usual "touchscreen fixes" that Windows provides is very unhelpful because it does not work for me at all. It worked blissfully for another month or so until another update happened and then it stopped working.

After a couple of months, my laptop updated and my touchscreen magically worked again. IĪlso tried to uninstall and let it reinstall which also did not work. I originally had Windows 8.1 where the touchscreen worked perfectly but after updating to Windows 10, my driver is hidden (Code 45) and there is no "rollback" or "enable/disable" option.

I have a Toshiba Satellite P55W-B220 laptop that is touchscreen.
